Scouting American:
- The Eagles fell to the visiting Longwood Lancers, 59-41, Wednesday night in Bender Arena.
- Neither American nor the Lancers really managed to lock in offensively, but full court press from the jump and an abundance of shots put up by Longwood let them control the game.
- Freshman forward Cecilia Kay finished a second consecutive game with double digit rebounds (10), as well as scoring eight points. She also tallied four blocks and a steal.
- Classmates Molly Driscoll and Elizabeth Archer each scored eight points along with Kay. Archer pulled down six rebounds while Driscoll had three, along with two assists and a steal.
- Grace Koepke, a sophomore guard, finished with six points and six rebounds.
