The Bearcats continued where they left off in the third, increasing their lead to as many as 11 early on. The Retrievers would attempt to cut into the lead, but each time the Bearcats had the answer. UMBC would get the deficit down to six with two minutes to go, but Binghamton got back to back lay-ups from Rebecca Carmody to extend their lead to 68-56. Binghamton would hold on the rest of the way, winning 70-56.
