The UMBC Baseball team will celebrate its seniors and close the regular season slate as it hosts defending champion Bryant at Alumni Field. The Bulldogs have already clinched the Regular Season title and the No.1 overall seed in next week's Conference tournament. The rematch of the 2024 America East Championship will run Thursday-Saturday, with 6 p.m. games the first two nights, followed by a 1p.m. Senior Day contest on Saturday.

Last time out, the Retrievers dropped a tight 4-2 contest in its series finale at UAlbany on Sunday afternoon.
Danny Wyatt and
Leewood Molessa each drove in a run to put UMBC up in the fifth, but the Great Danes scored the final four runs of the contest.
Brady Fox went a career-best 5.1 innings and struck out seven in the tough luck loss. Molessa and
Danny Orr each had two-hit games for the Retrievers.
Jesiah Carpenter and
Nick Pratt had the other hits for the Dawgs, while neither
Zach Robinson or
Sam Bell allowed an earned run in relief.
Scouting the Bulldogs:
Drew Wyers had four hits and drove in four runs and
Aleksei Goldhill homered and drove in three runs as the Bryant baseball team closed out the home schedule with a 12-8 victory over visiting Stonehill on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs improved to 30-17-1 overall with their 19
th win in the last 22 games.
Wyers finished a triple shy of the cycle, going 4-for-5 with a double, home run and four RBI. Goldhill, honored prior to game, hit his first career home run and finished 2-for-3 with three RBI and three runs scored.
Gavin Noriega and
Pat D'Amico each drove in a pair of runs.
Bryant used six pitchers on the afternoon, with
Mark Scamardella earning the victory and
Alex Slotter the save.
