The UMBC Baseball team returns from its bye weekend when it hosts Maryland on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Last time out,
Justin Taylor went 4-for-6 with a grand slam, six RBI and three runs scored, but the UMBC Baseball team dropped a 13-12 heartbreaker at Maryland last Wednesday night.Â
The Retrievers trailed 7-0 in the second, they rallied and eventually took a 12-8 lead in the seventh on Taylor's slam, but the hists scored two in the eighth and three in the ninth for the walk-off win.

Eddie Sargent pitched 3.1 scoreless innings in relief, retiring the final nine batters he faced, striking out three.Â

Luke Trythall came off the bench to smack a double and score two runs.
