Sargent Named America East Pitcher of the Week

BOSTON -- After a spectacular outing on Friday, UMBC Baseball senior Eddie Sargent has been named the America East Pitcher of the Week, the Conference announced on Tuesday.

The lefty tossed the first complete-game shutout of his career, scattering six hits and striking out two as UMBC won 13-0 over UMass Lowell.

The Retrievers host Towson at 6 p.m. on Tuesday.
