The UMBC Baseball team returns to Alumni Field to host a pair of 3 p.m. midweek contests against Mount St. Mary's (3/10) and Delaware State (3/11)

Cole Koonce will start on Tuesday and Owen Shaprow will start on Wednesday. 

Last time out,  Chris Harbert escaped a bases loaded jam in the bottom of the ninth to earn his first career save, and give the UMBC Baseball team a 4-1 win in the completion of Saturday's suspended game at Penn. 

Harbert also added a hit and an RBI as the starting DH in a 10-5 loss in the rubber game Sunday night. 

Zach Robinson had the best start of his career, tossing seven scoreless innings, striking out seven walking none and allowing five hits. Sergio Droz got the start at second base and had an RBI single before coming into pitch the bottom of the eighth, he struck out two and allowed just one run prior to Harbert entering.

Dylan Melton and Derek Paris each had two hits and an RBI, while Jesiah Carpenter had a sacrifice fly. Danny Orr, Kyle Eddington and Ehi Okojie also had hits in the win.

In the loss, the Retrievers took a 2-0 lead in the second on RBI singles from Eddington and Brooks Henderson, However, the Quakers would score three in the bottom half of the inning and add another in the third. 

Harbert hit his RBI single in the fourth to make it 4-3, but the hosts plated four in the bottom of the fifth to make it 8-3. In the sixth, Eddington worked a bases loaded walk and Henderson scored Orr on a sacrifice fly to cut the deficit to 8-5, but the Dawgs would get no closer and fall 10-5.

Eddington Paris and Anthony Mascuilli all had two-hit games for the Dawgs, while Brady Fox worked 1.1 perfect inning with three strikeouts in relief.
