Remy Leads Four Retrievers to All-Conference Honors; Baseball Faces Third-Seeded Binghamton in Postseason on Wednesday

BOSTON -- Nick Remy led four members of the UMBC Baseball team who earned All-Conference honors, the America East announced on Tuesday afternoon, 

Remy was the lone relief pitcher named to the All-Conference First Team after going 7-2 with four saves on the season. Danny Orr, who led the team with a .317 batting average and blasted seven homers, was named to both the All-Conference Second Team and the All-Rookie Team. He was joined on the All-Rookie Team by Anthony Mascuilli, who batted .315 and drew a team-best 31 walks compared to only 20 strikeouts. 

Derek Paris made the All-Academic team for the second-straight year. The junior has a 3.75 GPA while majoring in Computer Science. 

The Retrievers are the sixth-seed and will face third-seeded Binghamton on Wednesday night at 5 p.m. in the single elimination portion of the 2025 Northeast Delta Dental America East Baseball Championship hosted by Maine. If UMBC wins, it will face top seed Bryant on Thursday at 11 a.m.
