The UMBC Baseball team will resume mid-week play when it hosts George Washington for a 3 p.m. first pitch on Tuesday at Alumni Field.

Last time out,  Leewood Molessa had another homer and three RBI as the UMBC Baseball team clinched a series win over Binghamton with an 11-6 win in seven innings in game one of a double header on Saturday at Alumni Field. Binghamton won game two, 14-1, in seven innings.

In game one, Danny Orr had another three hits and an RBI, while Kyle Eddington added two hits and three RBI. Nick Pratt also had a pair of hits and an RBI, while Sergio Droz and Jesiah Carpenter each a hit and an RBI and Anthony Mascuilli added a hit.

Eddie Sargent got the win after working four innings and allowing five runs and striking out three, and Nick Remy worked the final three innings, allowing just one run and striking out four to pick up his third save of the season.

In game two, Orr went 1-for-3 with a sacrifice fly, while Mascuilli and Carpenter each went 2-for-3 with a walk. Droz, Nolan Kutney and Derek Paris each added a hits.
