The UMBC Baseball team will play it's final non-conference series of the season when it hosts Manhattan for a three-game series at Alumni Field beginning on Friday. First pitch in the opener is 6 p.m., with a single game on Saturday at 3 p.m. and the series-finale on Sunday at 1 p.m.

G1: RHP Sam Bell (2-1, 6.55 ERA) vs RHP Braedon Romero (1-3, 9.95 ERA)

G2: LHP Eddie Sargent (1-1, 6.95 ERA) vs RHP Brad Grasser (1-4, 10.06 ERA)

G3: RHP Sergio Droz (0-3, 8.78 ERA) vs RHP Joseph Duffield (3-5, 5.56 ERA)

The Retrievers dropped two of three at league-leading Maine last weekend. In the Friday night win,  Danny Wyatt homered and drove in six as the UMBC Baseball won a 16-12 slugfest.

Danny Orr and Nick Pratt also homered for the Dawgs, while Leewood Molessa had two hits and Anthony Mascuilli drove in three runs.

Orr and Wyatt each had three hit contests, Pratt and Jesiah Carpenter had two hits each and Sergio Droz had a hit and two RBI.

Brady Fox got the win after striking out two in working a perfect 1.1 innings out of the bullpen. Chris Ho entered to get the final out of the contest.
 

Manhattan erased a 4-0 deficit at Fordham on Wednesday, but the Rams had the final word by scoring the go-ahead run in the sixth in a 5-4 loss for the Jaspers. Aidan Taclas stayed hot at the plate for Manhattan, driving in two runs as part of the Jaspers' impressive comeback that would eventually be negated.
