Hill Announces Addition of Patmore and Johnson to Staff

BALTIMORE -- UMBC Women's Basketball head coach Candice Hill announced the addition of Mollie Patmore and Tahj Johnson to her staff on Thursday.

Patmore will serve as the Director of Basketball Operations, while Johnson will be a Graduate Assistant. Prior to her time in Tampa, she was a four-year Head Student Manager for the University of Delaware's Women's Basketball team.

Patmore comes to UMBC after serving as a Graduate Assistant for the University of South Florida Women's Basketball program the previous two seasons.

"We are so excited to have Mollie joining our program," said Hill. "Mollie has worked under some of the best coaches in women's basketball and been a part of programs that have competed and won at the highest level. The director of operations positions is very important in our program and we look forward to Mollie bringing her experience and organization to our program here at UMBC."

Tahj returns to the state of Maryland after graduating from St. John's earlier in May. The Silver Spring, Md. native was the Head Team Manager and a practice player for the past two seasons for the Red Storm, where he worked under the tutelage of Hill.

"I am thrilled to have Tahj joining me here at UMBC," said Hill. "Tahj was a manager that always worked hard and went the extra mile to make sure the program was taken care of, so I know he will do the same here at UMBC. Retriever Nation please welcome Tahj to our family."
