Women's Cross Country

Tepper Leads Women's Cross Country at NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals

University Park, Pa. – The UMBC women's cross country team finished their season with a 23rd-place finish out of 30 squads at the 2024 NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regionals on Friday afternoon.
 
Sophomore Lexi Tepper completed the 6k Penn State Cross Country Course with a 38th-place finish out of 214 competitors. Tepper, an America East All-Conference selection this season, crossed the finish line with a  personal-best effort of 21:03.3. It was the fifth-fastest time in program history for the 6k.
 
Junior Lily Strelecki (127, 22.29.4), freshman Katie Schwaner (138, 22:42.9), junior Lyna Beraich (145, 22:51.8), and sophomore Katelyn Deal (178, 23:34.6) rounded out the scoring with personal-best times.

Senior Judy McLaughlin (23:50.2) and freshman Liesl McMullen (24:34.1) also competed for the Retrievers
 
West Virginia won the event with 41 points.
