Tepper Conquers Mount St. Mary's 5K Dual Field for Second Straight Year

Retrievers Place Second to Open 2025 Season

Emmitsburg, Md. – Junior Lexi Tepper won the individual title at Mount St. Mary's 5K Dual Meet for the second consecutive year on Friday morning.

Tepper led the women's cross country team to a runner-up finish, coming in second behind the University of Delaware. The Dawgs finished with a total of 54 points, achieving an average time of 19:09. Tepper completed the 5K course in a time of 18:29.59.

Freshman Rachel Roberts made an impressive debut, finishing in seventh place with a time of 19:02.47.

The scoring for UMBC was completed by senior Lily Strelecki (12th place, 19:16.91), sophomore Katie Schwaner (17th place, 19:28.14), and freshman Micah Haskins (19th place, 19:30.77).

Howard finished third with 96 points, followed by Towson (104 points), Gettysburg (133 points), Catholic (156 points), Mount (184 points), and McDaniel (210 points) in fourth through eighth places, respectively.
