Baseball Set To Host Maryland and Coppin State This Week

The UMBC Baseball team wraps up its six-game home stand by welcoming local rivals Maryland (25-15, 8-4 Big Ten) and Coppin State (13-25, 6-12 NEC) to Alumni Field this week.

The Retrievers and Terps will square off on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m., followed by a 6 p.m. Wednesday matchup between UMBC and CSU.

Both games will be live streamed for free on the America East Digital Network.

UMBC is on a four game winning streak and moved into second place in the America East after a three-game sweep of UMass Lowell this past weekend.
The Retrievers are second in the America East with 254 runs scored and are third in the America East in batting (.293).
