Jacob Boonyasith led four players in double-figures with 19 points as the host UMBC men's basketball team defeated the Hartford Hawks, 87-62, in a non-conference victory at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena on Monday evening.
-Â UMBC (13-6), who shot a season-high 58.3 percent (35-of-60), picked up their DI program-record tenth regular-season non-conference win. Boonyasith converted 7-of-11 field goal attempts and was 4-for-6 from behind the arc.
