Biography
2022-23: Made a big jump in terms of minutes and scoring, averaging 10.1 points in 22.5 minutes per game...Played in all 32 contests and made three starts...Was named to the America East All Academic Team...Connected on 67-of-170 3-point field goal attempts for a .394 clip...Finished fourth in the conference with 2.1 3-pointers per game and was fourth in long-distance accuracy...Converted 71-of-86 (.826) of his free throw attempts...Became the first Retriever to splash five treys in four consecutive games (11-18 through 11/26)...Scored a career-high 24 points at UAlbany and also posted 21 points in home games versus Central Connecticut State and NJIT...Drilled a career-high six triples versus Morgan State.
2021-22: Appeared in 25 games, mostly off the bench for the Retrievers...averaged 2.5 points per game and 0.7 rebounds per game in 8.6 minutes per game...shot 44.4 percent from the floor and 42.3 percent from three...had a career-high 10 points, going 3-6 from the floor against Vermont on February 19...ended the year with a nine point performance against Vermont in the America East Championship...Distributed a career-best five assists versus Maine
2020-21: Appeared in nine games for the Retrievers during his first collegiate season...averaged 6.3 mpg and 1.1 ppg...made his collegiate debut in the season opener at Georgetown on November 25...scored two points with three rebounds off the bench in nine minutes....followed that up with a pair of three point games against Saint Francis (Pa.) and George Washington.
PRIOR TO UMBC: Comes to UMBC from Milan, Italy where he competed nationally with the Italian U16 and U18 teams at the European Championships, as well as in the 3x3 World Cup...Averaged 19 ppg, 4 rpg, 4 apg and 2 spg with Aquila Basket Trento at the Italian Next Gen Cup during the 2019-20 season...At the event, he posted a 27 point, 5 rebound game against Pesaro in the quarterfinals...Played club ball with Aquila Basket Trento and Grasshopper Club Zurich where he helped them win the U19 Swiss Championship in 2017.
