Dmitri Floyd (Dover, Del.) earned a walk to load the bases, but they would be quickly unloaded on a Christian Torres double to give UMBC a 3-0 lead.

The Tigers would add another run in the seventh and four in the eighth to make it 21-4, holding off UMBC in the ninth for the win.
Casey was the only Retriever with multiple hits with two and driving in one run. Torres had three RBI with Floyd scoring twice.
