After being move over on a bunt by Kyle Benjamin (Mechanicsville, Md./Bishop McNamara), Hunter Dolshun (Warwick, N.Y./Warwick Valley) would come up with two outs. He took the 1-0 pitch over the left-center field wall for his seventh home run of the year, giving UMBC a 2-1 lead.

Maryland would respond in their half of the sixth, grabbing a pair of runs to take a 3-2 lead, all with no outs. They would add two more later in the inning, increasing their lead to 5-2 after six.

They would add another on an eighth inning home run to make it 6-2, sealing the win late.
