Men's Soccer Unveils 2025 Schedule

Print Schedule Poster

BALTIMORE –
UMBC head men's soccer coach Anthony Adams has announced the schedule for the 2025 season.

The Retrievers, who have been Top 25 nationally in attendance the past 14 years, will play eight home contests at Retriever Soccer Park, which was named one of the best 11 places to watch soccer according to the NCAA

"UMBC will once again be hosting some exciting games at Retriever Soccer Park which will have an electric atmosphere," said Adams. "We also have some very challenging road matches to prepare for the America East Conference. The league should be stronger than ever and we're looking forward to competing this fall in front of our fans and Lot 17 (Soccer Student Section)."

UMBC will open the season on Thursday, August 21 on the road at CAA runner-up UNC Wilmington, before returning home to host Saint Peter's on Monday, August 25, for UMBC Student Life Move-In Day.

The Retrievers will then host two games for the annual UMBC/Navy Tournament against Niagara and local rival Howard on August 29 and September 1.

The Dawgs will then play three of its next four games against opponents from Virginia, as they travel to William & Mary (September 6), and host Old Dominion (September 12) and A-10 regular season champion George Mason (September 20). In between the latter two, UMBC travels to Navy (September 16).

America East play begins as the Retrievers head to defending National Champion Vermont (September 27). UMBC was the last team to beat Vermont in 2024.

A pair of home contests open October, as the Dawgs host Bryant (October 4) and then welcome New Hampshire (October 11) for homecoming. After three straight road contests at UAlbany (October 17), George Washington (October 21) and UMass Lowell (October 25), UMBC closes the home portion of the schedule with a Halloween showdown against Binghamton.

The regular season will conclude on November 4 when the Retrievers travel to NJIT.
