Women's Lacrosse Will Host Bucknell on Sunday

Game will be played at UIMBC Stadium at 2:00 p.m.

BALTIMORE – The UMBC women's lacrosse team welcomes Bucknell to the turf at UMBC Stadium on Sunday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m. The game was slated to be played in Lewisburg on Saturday, but was moved due to adverse winter weather conditions in the region.

Due to UMBC Stadium's construction project, there is no seating available in the stands. Fans are encouraged to bring their own chairs and sit on the track on the side opposite the team benches. Tickets will not be sold for this contest.

UMBC freshman attacker Kolby Weedon (Catonsville, Md./Catonsville) netted a season high five goals, but visiting Towson broke open a tight game with a 5-0 second quarter run and prevailed, 19-12, in chilly conditions at Retriever Soccer Park on March 9.
Junior linemate Claire Bockstie (Forest Hill, Md./Maryvale Prep) added four second half goals for the Retrievers.
