2022 (JUNIOR):

  • Played and started in all 17 games during the 2022 season.
  • Had 37 points on 24 goals and 13 assists.
  • Collected 20 ground balls and caused 23 turnovers.
  • Re-set her single-season record with 111 draw controls, moving into second all-time.
  • Had a season-best 11 draw controls against Robert Morris.
  • Had a four-point game against UAlbany with a goal and three assists.
  • Was named to the America East All-Conference Second Team and All-Academic Team.

2021 (SOPHOMORE):

  • Started in all 12 games of the season.
  • Named to the IWLCA Mid-Atlantic All-Region Second Team.
  • America East First Team All-Conference and All-Rookie Team selection.
  • Third on the team in points with 27 (18g, 9a).
  • Recorded a point in every game.
  • Had seven multi-point games on the season.
  • Scored the game-winning goal with 10 seconds left in UMBC’s 12-11 comeback victory against VCU (2/26).
  • Became the first Retriever in school history to record 100 draws in a single season (104).

2020 (FRESHMAN):

  • Started in all six games of the season.
  • Scored nine points on seven goals and two assists.
  • In UMBC’s 11-7 win over VCU, recorded a career-high three points (2g, 1a).
  • Had two two-points games against Bucknell and Temple (2g).
  • Recorded 24 shots with 19 on goal.
  • Was 3-7 from the eight-meter mark.
  • Was second on the team with 17 draw controls.
  • Controlled a career-high five draws against Mount St. Mary’s.
  • Also recorded 11 ground balls and five caused turnovers.

BACKGROUND:

  • Played midfield for Kelly Wetzel at Kennard-Dale with teammate Mackenzie Young.
  • Two-time YAIAA MVP and Midfielder of the Year (2018 and 2019).
  • Two-time US Lacrosse All-American (2018 and 2019).
  • Set records in goals (270), draw controls (706), and interceptions (70).
  • Helped lead Kennard-Dale to the state championships in 2017 and 2018.
  • Earned Distinguished Honor Roll and Honor Roll all four years of high school.
  • Member of National Honor Society and Academic Letter Society.
  • Was her class vice president.
  • Played club lacrosse for the York Invader, where she was named a Brine All-American in 2017.
  • Also lettered in soccer and basketball, where she broke the all-time assist record.

PERSONAL:

  • Daughter of Sandra and Troy Halczuk
  • Has one brother, Troy. 
  • Plans on double majoring in Health Administration and Public Policy and Sociology with ambitions to be a cardiac sonographer.
