Biography
2022 (JUNIOR):
- Played and started in all 17 games during the 2022 season.
- Led the team with 63 goals and 81 points with 18 assists, becoming the second Retriever to hit 60 goals in a season.
- Led the America East in goals per game and finished second in points per game.
- Named the America East Offensive Player of the Week three times (2/28, 3/21, 3/18)
- Selected as UMBC's Female Athlete of the Week on 4/20.
- Scored a goal in all but two games, scoring no less than two goals in every game.
- Had a 10 point game against Robert Morris on eight goals and two assists.
- Had a stretch of seven games scoring four or more goals per game.
- Set the single season record for goals (63) and shots (165).
- Was named to the America East All-Conference First Team and All-Academic Team.
2021 (SOPHOMORE):
- Played in all 12 games, starting in nine.
- Named to the America East All-Conference First Team, All-Rookie Team, and All-Academic Team.
- Named to America East All-Tournament Team.
- Led the Retrievers with 50 points (42g, 8a).
- Has scored a point in every game, extending back to the 2020 season.
- Recorded nine multi-point games during the 2021 season.
- In the America East Tournament against Stony Brook (5/6), scored a career-high eight points off six goals and two assists.
- In the 27-16 win against Binghamton (4/24), netted a career-high seven goals to go along with two ground balls, and one caused turnover.
- Was named America East Offensive Player of the Week following the win over the Bearcats.
- Finished the year second in the conference and 22nd in the nation in goals per game (3.50).
- Ranked third in the conference in points per game (4.17).
2020 (FRESHMAN):
- Played in all six games, starting in one.
- Led the freshmen class with 12 points (11g, 1a).
- Scored a career-high three goals twice (Lehigh, Drexel).
- Had multi-point performances against Mount St. Mary’s and Bucknell.
- Recorded a point in every game this season.
- Led the team in shots with 31, 23 on goal.
BACKGROUND:
- Starting attacker for Kim Dubansky at Maryvale Preparatory.
- Named the team MVP in 2018 and team captain in 2019.
- Two-time IAAM “A” All-Conference selection.
- Selected as an Under Armour All-American Standout in 2019.
- Played on the Under Armour All-American Baltimore Girls Highlight team.
- Named a “2019 Player to Watch” by The Baltimore Sun.
- Played club lacrosse for the Skywalkers.
- Earned the 2019 Scholar-Athlete award.
- Also lettered in field hockey, basketball, and track.
PERSONAL:
- Daughter of Lisa and Mike Bockstie
- Has four siblings: Brad, Ellie, Bryn, and Lydia.
- Ellie plays lacrosse at Lindenwold and Brad played football at Bridgewater.
- Plans to study media and communications with an ambition to own her own business.
