Men's Soccer Welcomes No. 10 Vermont to RSP on Saturday Evening

The program will celebrate the 50-year anniversary of Title IX and recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Month

The UMBC Retrievers (8-4-2, 2-2-0 America East) face a stern test as the tenth-ranked Vermont Catamounts (12-1-1, 4-0-0 AE) invade Retriever Soccer Park on Saturday, Oct. 21.  The game will be broadcast on the America East Digital Network.

Throughout 2022, UMBC Athletics has been celebrating the 50th anniversary of the passage of Title IX by honoring a woman in each sport that is significant and special to that program. In addition, the men's soccer program is also recognizing Breast Cancer Awareness month at the contest versus Vermont. Pink ribbons will be distributed and there will be a brief pre-match ceremony.

For the past 37 years, the month of October has been nationally recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month, an annual campaign to raise awareness about the impact of breast cancer.
