Swimming and Diving Competes at Day Two of ECAC Championships

ANNAPOLIS, Md. – Day two of the ECAC Championships wrapped up on Saturday night with members of the UMBC swimming and diving teams competing in select events.

Jack Carlisle (Cape Town, South Africa) finished fourth in the 100 fly with a time of 49.25, while Luka Zuric (Setauket, N.Y.) finished ninth in a time of 49.67.

In the women's 200 free, Natalija Marin (Belgrade, Serbia) earned a bronze medal, touching in with a time of 1:50.89. Vanessa Esposito (Montreal, Canada) came in 12th after finishing in a time of 1:53.91.

On the men's side, Ilia Rattsev (Moscow, Russia) earned a first-place finish in the 200 free after touching the wall in a time of 1:37.63.

The Retrievers will complete competition at the ECAC Championships on Sunday with preliminaries starting at 9 a.m.
