The UMBC Volleyball team (14-6, 5-2) returns from a four-game road swing to host three-time defending America East champion New Hampshire on Sunday at 1 p.m. Both teams sit at 5-2 in America East, one-game back of first place Albany.
The Retrievers are coming off a shorthanded five-set defeat at George Washington on Wednesday, a match in which they left several key players at home to rest.
This past Tuesday, sophomore libero Kristin Watson (Bowie, Md/Eleanor Roosevelt) was named America East Defensive Specialist of the Week for the third time this season.
Watson had a career-high 38 digs on Friday night as the visiting Retrievers rallied from two sets down to defeat Stony Brook in five sets. The 38 digs were the second -highest in UMBC rally-scoring era, and third highest in program history. In addition, Watson tied a career-high with seven assists in the victory.

Demi Muses leads the team in kills, with 278 , and kills per set with 3.71. Setter Keelin Severtson tops the Wildcats in assists with 941, while averaging 10.82 assists per set
