The Retriever women's tennis team will host the UMBC Fall Invitational at the UMBC Tennis Complex on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 25 and 26. UMBC, Delaware, Villanova and Richmond will compete in the two-day event.

The teams will utilize the 5+1 format for the competition. There will be five singles and 1 doubles match played at the same time. There will NO-AD scoring as well as a super (10-point) tie-break for the final set. Doubles will also use NO-AD scoring and will be played two-out-of-three sets with a super tie-break set as well.

UMBC is coming off an excellent showing at the Akron Invitational, winning all three doubles competitions versus Akron, Cleveland State and Youngstown State in the three-day event, and taking two of three singles events.
