In first outdoor competition, placed eighth (12.81m) during the shot put in the Weems Baskin Invitational.
In the Towson Invitational, tossed the discus the fifth-farthest distance of the day, 39.58m.
Had two top-ten finishes, a 12.78m shot put (sixth) plus a 38.10m discus (tenth) at the Dalton Ebanks Invitational.
