BOSTON -- Marie Abongwa and Enazajah Young continued their excellent indoor seasons as they took home America East weekly awards, the Conference announced on Tuesday.

Young was named the America East Rookie of the Week for the fifth time this season after she finished second at the Darius Dixon Memorial Invitational in the 60m Hurdles in 8.40 and set a PR in the 60m with a time of 7.54. 

Abongwa earned her second America East Field Performer of the Week honor of the season by finishing seventh in the shot put (14.11m) and ninth in the weight throw (17.21).

UMBC will compete in the America East Championships in Boston this weekend.
