BACKGROUND
- A Georgia High School Region V champion
- Produced two consecutive top five placements, including a fifth place effort on the 1-meter board in 2023 in the Georgia high school state championships
- A 2021 All-County First Team member who only began competing at age 15
- Produced an 11-dive score of 395.20 at the USA Diving Region III Championships in 2023, which qualified him for first-ever Zone Championships for USA Diving
- A 2022 AP Scholar with Distinction
- Considering a major in computer science and would like to be a software developer
- A fan of MLB’s Atlanta Braves and the book Divergent
- Son of Tamara and Christopher Vines and has younger brother, Matthew
