DJ Armstrong Jr. has signed to play with the Orlando Magic in the upcoming NBA Summer League, taking place July 10 through July 19th in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Armstrong Jr. recently participated in the 2026 AWS NBA G League Combine, which was held in Chicago last May. The event allowed NBA prospects to showcase their talent to NBA and NBA G League scouts, coaches, and front-office executives.
Armstrong Jr. earned Second Team America East honors and joined the AE All-Academic Team in 2025-26. He claimed the America East Tournament MVP award after scoring 33 points (including a title game record seven treys) in the championship game against Vermont. He finished 8th in the America East in scoring (13.3 ppg.), slotted first in threes per game (2.7), and led the league in three-point field goal percentage (.419). The Orlando, Florida native swished at least two treys in 24 of 33 contests this season.
