Eight Retrievers were named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, the organization announced on Tuesday.
The awards recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Axel Mori,
Sean Neils and
Nick Zaharescu were selected from the Men's team, while
Alicia Buteau,
Erma Duratovic,
Ashley Gutshall and
Breanna Smith were honored from the Women's team.
Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Both Gutshall and Neils were selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced April 28 (women) and April 29 (men).
