BOSTON -- UMBC Track & Field standouts Leanne McDonald and Alim Raji were both named to the America East Indoor Track & Field All-Academic Team, the Conference announced on Wednesday afternoon.

McDonald is a senior psychology major with a 3.52 GPA, while Raji is a sophomore majoring in Information Systems with a 3.57 GPA.

To be nominated, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically and athletically, and must have at least a 3.30 cumulative grade point average.

At the America East Indoor Track & Field Championships last month, McDonald was a member of the gold medal-winning Women's 4x400 relay, while  Raji won a bronze in both the Men's 60m and 200m.
