Men's Outdoor Shows Well at Dan Stimson Memorial Invitational

Williamsburg, VA – The UMBC Men's Track team had a strong showing in the Dan Stimson Memorial Invitational on Saturday afternoon at William & Mary. 

In the track events, Ojigwe Olua flew into second all-time after running a time of 14.17 in the 110 hurdles. In the same event, Joseph Addo made his way into tenth in the record book with a time of 14.47.

After a strong showing in the 800 last week, reigning America East Rookie of the Week, Jacob Martin, completed the 400-meter in 48.31 to place eighth all-time in UMBC history.

David Adisa ran a 10.52 in the 100-meter to tie for eighth all-time. Karrell Clement came in third in the 100-meter with a time of 10.78.

Adisa came in first in the 200-meter with a time of 21.87, while Martin Ojulu followed with a time of 21.94.

Cameron Hayes ran a time of 57.23 in the 400 hurdles to take first place in the meet.

In the field events, Toren Burr placed first in the hammer throw with 50.72m, while freshman Jaylen White took first in the Javelin with 49.02m.
