January Student-Athletes of the Month

The Academic Center for Student-Athletes is proud to announce the January Student-Athletes of the Month!

Aryanna Ebanks, Women's Track & Field
Delainey Proctor, Women's Soccer

"Aryanna has so much enthusiasm for school, she's passionate about her assignments and does a great job connecting with her professors. She has done a wonderful job balancing her school work, athletics and her ROTC requirements. She always comes in ready to chat about how things have been going and what she needs to do next. I am very excited to watch her continue to grow and take on leadership roles." – Meg Bossey, Academic Advisor

"Delainey is a self-starter who attacked her first semester here at UMBC. She excelled in the classroom and did a great job balancing her academic and athletic responsibilities, while serving as a role-model to her peers for her study habits. I am excited to watch her continued growth during her time at UMBC." – Essence Brown, Academic Advisor

These students embraced their academics with the same drive they display for their sport during their first semester. The enthusiasm they exhibit towards their academics will continue to help them succeed and they have been recognized for the month of January for their success.

Our Student-Athletes of the Month recipients will be recognized on our Instagram (@umbcacsa) and Twitter (@UMBC_ACSA) accounts as well as on the tv's displays throughout ACSA.
