Adisa and Olua Shine on Friday at Penn State

University Park, PA – The UMBC Men's Track & Field team kicked off the Penn State National Open on Friday.

Ojigwe Olua came in second place in the 60 meter hurdles with a time of 7.93.

David Adisa ran a 6.91 in the 60 meter dash semi-finals to qualify for the finals where he finished seventh. Sofiane Compaorg ran a 4:10.97 in the mile to place 20th out of 47. 

Weston Carr finished 17th out of 51 in the 800 meter with a time of 1:51.07. Joey Ensor followed behind with a time of 1:51.55.

The Retrievers continue the Penn State National Open tomorrow.
