NEW YORK, N.Y. --
Justin Banks continued his impressive indoor campaign and the 4x4 relay team had another strong showing as the UMBC Men's Track & Field team concluded the Dr. Sander Scorcher on Saturday in New York City.
Banks finished 10th in the 1 Mile (Invitational) in 4:05.51, the best time in the America East so far this season by nearly three seconds. The 4x4 (Invitational) relay team ofÂ

Jacob Martin won the silver in a time of 3:13.47.
Alim Raji took 10th in th 200m (Invitational) in a time of 23.06, while
Simon Essono used a time of 22.45 to take sixth in the Open portion of the event.Â
Xavier Gooden was UMBC's top finisher in the shot put with a throw of 13.83m.
The Retrievers retrun to action at the Penn State National next weekend.Â
