The UMBC Track & Field programs will continue their indoor season on Saturday as they travel to the Nittany Lion Challenge hosted by Penn State. The all day competition will be held at the Multi-Sport Facility & Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track.
Enazajah Young continued the impressive start to her career by being named the America East Track Performer and Rookie of the Week, the Conference announced on Tuesday.
Young, who was named the Rookie of the Week after her first career meet in December, broke her own school record in the 60 hurdles on Friday at the VCU Rams Indoor Invitational in Virginia Beach.
Young broke the school record last month in her first collegiate race, and then broke it again on Friday in her second career meet, as she won the event in 8.37.

Jacob Martin had standout performances this past weekend, and for it they were honored by the America East Conference on Tuesday morning.Â
Martin was named both the America East Track Performer and Rookie of the Week after he won the 500 in 1:03.15 and was on the gold medal winning 4x400 relay team.
Burr was named the America East Field Performer of the Week after he used a throw of 16.88 to earn bronze in the weight throw.Â
