- A goal by sophomore forward Matteo Samori in the 63rd minute led the UMBC men's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over Saint Peter's in front of 3,281 fans at Retriever Soccer Park on Monday evening.
- The winning play started when sophomore forward Gunder Miller sent a through ball to the left corner for Schissler. The senior spun to elude a defender and lofted a great pass into the box for Samori, who was positioned at the seven-yard line. Samori headed the ball on target, and it went right through the legs of Peacocks' goalie Conrad Moritz, who made four saves.
- UMBC goalie Emigdio Tormo Lopez made several crucial saves to keep Saint Peter's scoreless.
- The Retrievers outshot the visitors 13-6 and attempted ten corner kicks during the game
- A total of 3,281 fans attended the event, marking the second-highest attendance in Retriever Soccer Park history.
- UMBC continued their dominance on opening night after a 2-1 victory at UNC Wilmington. The Dawgs are 4-0-2 since their last loss during the 2019 season.
- The Retrievers are looking to go 2-0 for the first time since the 2022 season. The squad went 5-0-1 to open that campaign and finished 10-6-2 overall.

- A second half goal was the difference to propel Niagara men's soccer to a 3-2 victory over Saint Bonaventure at Tom 80' and Michelle Marra Athletics Field Complex in Olean, N.Y.
- The Purple Eagles got off to a quick start getting on the board in the 9th minute of the contest. Juan Cardona beat Bonnies' goalkeeper Felix Schoene high right to put the Purple and White up one.
- Niagara doubled their lead in the 38th minute when Chase Dade put home his first as a Purple Eagle on a pass from Jeremy Talsma to give the Purple Eagles a 2-0 lead into the half.
- St. Bonaventure cut the Purple Eagles lead in half to start the second half on a goal from Seth Hammond in the 47th minute.
- The Purple Eagles regained their two-goal lead in the 60th minute as Tommy Mittelstadt beat Schoene low center. Dade recorded an assist on the play, recording three points in the contest.
- The Bonnies tried to mount a comeback late capitalizing off a penalty kick in the 87th minute as Kyle Macfarlane beat Purple Eagles goaltender Grant Wyles, but it would not be enough as Niagara held onto a 3-2 victory over St. Bonaventure
