BALTIMORE – UMBC head women's soccer coach
Rick Stainton revealed the 2025 season schedule on Tuesday,
"We're excited about the competition our 2025 schedule presents," said Stainton. "When we build a schedule, we seek matches that will challenge us in different ways and prepare us for conference play. This schedule does that for us! We look forward to competing at the highest level, continuing our growth and development as a program, while producing success and making our supporters proud."
The Retrievers will once again play nine of their 18 matches at Retriever Soccer Park, including four America East contests at Retriever Soccer Park.
UMBC opens the season on Staten Island against Wagner (August 14), before having its home-opener against Mercyhurst (August 17). The Retrievers then travel to face Maryland (August 21) for the first time since 2006, and then return to RSP for a three-game homestand against Iona (August 24), Longwood (August 28) and Delaware (August 31).
The non-conference slate concludes with local road trips to Towson (September 4) and American (September 7), followed by a home contest against Robert Morris (September 11) and another short road trip to Navy (September 14).
America East play begins with a road contest at Binghamton (September 21), a home game against UMass Lowell (September 28) and then another road game at UAlbany (October 2). Home contests against Vermont (October 5) and Bryant (October 12) are followed by road matches at to two-time defending America East Champion Maine (October 19) and New Hampshire (October 26).
The regular season concludes under the lights at Retriever Soccer Park against NJIT (October 30).
