Orono, Maine -- Sergio Droz hit his second homer of the week, but the UMBC Baseball team dropped a 23-1, seven inning decision on Sunday afternoon.

Aiden Denham worked a scoreless inning of relief. Jesiah Carpenter, Anthony Mascuilli and Danny Orr all drew walks. Leewood Molessa was hit by a pitch and stole a base.

The Retrievers step out of conference play next weekend when they host Manhattan for a four game series at Alumni Field. First pitch for the series opener on Friday night is at 6 p.m.
