BALTIMORE --
Ehi Okojie went 2-for-2 with a run scored and reached base in all four of his trips to the plate, but the UMBC Baseball team dropped its series opener to visiting Lehigh, 13-3, in right innings on Friday afternoon at Alumni Field.
Kyle Eddington and
Danny Wyatt also had multi-hit games for UMBC, which also received hits from
Jesiah Carpenter and
Derek Paris.
Nico Ong had an RBI sacrifice fly, Carpenter had an RBI groundout and Wyatt had an RBI double.
Shane Murphy worked a scoreless inning of relief for the Retrievers.
Game 2 of the series will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday.
