Baseball Drops 6-0 Decision to Iowa

DeLand, Fla. -- The UMBC Baseball team closed its opening weekend in Florida with a 6-0 defeat at the hands of Iowa.

Sergio Droz was strong in his first career start, going four innings, striking out three, walking none and allowing just two runs on four hits.

Nico Ong and Luke Buscaglia each had hits for the Dawgs

The Retrievers travel to Towson for a 2 p.m. game on Wednesday
