Swimming & Diving Heads South for America East Championships

The UMBC Swimming & Diving program will head south to VMI for the America East Championships that run this Wednesday through Saturday.

The Men's will be looking to win its record 15th America East title (Binghamton is second all-time with three titles), the Women will be looking to win their eighth America East title, and first since 2019.

Tickets: Tickets are available via the VMI ticket site HERE. Please note the start times for diving prelims are currently estimated and will be set and published on our AE Championship website once entries have been submitted. The start time for the 1650 yd. freestyle will be determined on Friday evening after the scratch deadline. Tickets purchased via VMI's website can be picked up at the Will Call table in the Aquatics Facility. Please remember to bring a valid ID.
 
VMI clear bag policy: VMI follows a clear bag policy for spectators and can be found here. Doors will open one (1) hour prior to the start of the session and the stands will be cleared at the conclusion of each session.
 
Volunteer Timers: Sign up via this LINK so we can run an efficient meet. Volunteers who sign up to time will not be charged for the session they volunteer. Please note this when purchasing tickets and select accordingly. Staff is unable to issue refunds
 
Parking: Parking for spectators will be available in the South Institute Hill parking lot. If the South Institute Hill lot is full, spectators may utilize the North Institute Hill parking lot, as well as public parking locations downtown. Any vehicle parked in yellow on Main Street may be ticketed and towed accordingly.
