BINGHAMTON, NY -- Jordon Lewis had a season high 20 points and contributed five rebounds, but the Retrievers fell at Binghamton, 58-48. Binghamton used eight threes to seal the victory on Thursday evening.
Jaden Walker had 10 points and seven rebounds while Tiara Bellamy contributed six points and two steals coming off the bench for the Retrievers.

Binghamton scored first with a layup before Lewis responded with a jumper

Both teams exchanged buckets before Bellamy made back-to-back shots to give UMBC its first lead of the game 15-13, but the first quarter ended 17-15 Binghamton.

Binghamton opened the second quarter with a three before Lauren Thompson responded with the Retrievers first.

Both teams kept it close but Binghamton went on a 7-0 run to pull ahead 31-24 at the end of the first half.

Lewis opened the second half with two free throws but the Bearcats outshot the Retrievers 19-16, 50-40 Binghamton.

Carmen Yánez opened the fourth quarter with a floating jump shot with 5:19 left in the game but the Bearcats held on to win 58-48.
The Retrievers return back to The Peake for Senior Night on Saturday against Bryant at 4 pm.
