Diving Hosts Retriever Diving Invite, Swimming Heads to Salisbury on Saturday

The UMBC Swimming & Diving programs wil look to divide and conquer on Saturday as the Diving program hosts the Retriever Diving Invite, while the Swimmers will travel to Salisbury. Both meets will begin at 1 p.m. with live streams available for both. Salisbury Live Stream | Diving Live Stream

Salisbury has a 25 meter pool, so the races will be under international short course rules. Lafayette, Loyola Maryland and Towson will compete in the Retriever Diving Invite. 

Last time out, the Retrievers finished a strong weekend at the Bucknell Invitational on November 23.

The Men finished fourth (954 points) in a crowded field, while the Women took sixth (597).

Alice Marini capped a solid weekend with a fourth place finish (1:59.42) in the back, while Erma Duratovic finished fifth in the 100 free (50.80). 

Quinn Marchionini also had a strong meet, as he finished it with a fifth place finish in the 200 back (1:48.07). Sean Neils (44.17) and Braden Wise (44.69) went 5-6 in the 100 free, while Elliot Fiedel had a sixth place finish in the 200 breaststroke in 2:03.08.

Anders Logas took fifth in the 3 meter dive with a score of 304.10.
