Schissler & Williams Named to 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams

Senior defender Ricky Schissler from the men's soccer team and graduate student goalie Kalli Williams from the women's soccer team have been named to the 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Soccer Teams, as selected by College Sports Communicators on Tuesday. These teams honor the nation's top student-athletes for their achievements both on the field and in the classroom. Both student-athletes advanced to the CSC Academic All-American ballot.
 
Schissler, a defender boasts a 4.00 GPA in Media & Communication Studies. He has been selected for the 2025 America East All-Academic Team and has received President's List honors for Spring '24, Fall '24, and Spring '25. The Fallston, Maryland native was also named to the America East Commissioner's Honor Roll for Fall '24 and was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National Honor Society. Hailing from Fallston, Maryland, Schissler scored four goals this past season, achieving this feat in four consecutive games against George Washington, UMass Lowell, Binghamton, and NJIT. His goal against UMass Lowell marked his first game-winning goal in Baltimore. The Archbishop Curley graduate also provided an assist in a 1-0 victory against Saint Peter's.

Williams earned her undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry from Towson University last spring, achieving a 3.58 GPA. She is currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Professional Studies and Leadership. The Port Republic, Maryland native started 14 games as a goalie for the Retrievers this past season and was named to the 2025 America East All-Academic Team. Additionally, she was awarded America East Conference Defensive Player of the Week on September 8, 2025, and October 27, 2025. Williams finished third in the America East in saves per game (3.94) and fourth in goals against average (1.10).
 
The CSC Academic All-District® teams include the student-athletes listed at the links above. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot for voting by CSC members. The first-, second-, and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced on December 16, 2025 (men) and December 17, 2025 (women).
