Claudia Llamas tallied a career-best 19 kills on .316 hitting, but the UMBC Volleyball team could not complete a big rally as it fell in four sets at Binghamton on Friday night (25-22, 25-16, 11-25, 27-25).
Hannah Howard led the way on defense with 25 digs, while
Laura Fuehrer added nine kills (.438) and a team-high six blocks.Â
Izzy Ostvig picked up 27 assists, eight digs, four kills and two blocks, as she split time at setter with
Serin Maden, who finished with 25 assists of her own.
Jalynn Brown was second on the team with 13 kills, and
Hannah Dobbs added eight kills and seven digs.
Helen Frankovich also contributed four kills in the effort.
