BALTIMORE -- Jalyn Brown had 18 kills on .277 hitting and eight digs to lead the UMBC Volleyball team to a dominant sweep of visiting Binghamton (25-15, 25-17, 25-17) on Sunday afternoon at The Peake.
The Retrievers hit .300 in the match, had eight aces and no service errors, while holding the Bearcats to just .117 hitting.Â
Serin Maden had a double-double with 19 assists and 10 digs, while
Hannah Howard had a team-high 14 digs, four assists and two aces.
Izzy Ostvig was second on the team with 16 assists, five digs and three blocks.Â
Hannah Dobbs nearly had a double-double with nine kills and ten digs,
Claudia Llamas tallied eight kills on .333 hitting with five digs and three blocks, and
Laura Fuehrer picked up six kills on .500 hitting with three blocks.Â

Ema Djordjevic tallied a match and career-high four aces to go with three digs,
Helen Frankovich had three kills and two blocks, and
Ella McAllister got the start in the back row and had four digs and an assist.
The Dawgs step out of America East play for the final time this season as they travel across town to face Coppin State on Wednesday night at 5 p.m.
