Volleyball Falls at Horizon League Champion Wright State on Saturday

Dayton, Ohio – Graduate student Aysia Miller had a game-high 14 digs, but the shorthanded UMBC Volleyball team fell at defending Horizon League Champion and preseason favorite Wright State (4-1) on Saturday(25-15, 25-17, 25-17)

Senior Mila Bulisic stood out as she had a team-high 12 kills, seven digs, and two aces.

Junior Serin Maden contributed a team-high 17 assists and six digs. 

Freshman Claudia Llamas had a well-rounded game, finishing with five kills, four digs, and one assist.

For the second straight match, graduate student Abby Erickson did not record an error, finishing with four kills in eight attempts.

The Dawgs play their final game of the weekend against #22 Dayton on Sunday at noon.
