Luke Trythall homered and
Eddie Sargent allowed just two runs in 6.2 innings of work, but host Binghamton hit a walk-off two run homer in the bottom of the 13th to take the series finale, 5-3, over UMBC on Sunday afternoon.
Matt Ryan doubled home
Justin Taylor in the first, and Trythall hit a two-run blast in the second to make it 3-0, but UMBC would be unable to plate another run the rest of the way. Binghamton scored twice in the seventh and then added an unearned run in the eighth to send the game to extras.

Danny Wyatt each had two-hit games for the Retrievers, who fell to 23-22, and 12-9 in the America East.
UMBC hosts in-state rival Maryland Eastern Shore on Tuesday night, before concluding the regular season with a three game home series againt Bryant, beginning on Thursday night.
