Ava Roberts won the gold medal in the shot put at the 2024 Penn Relays on Saturday afternoon. Roberts' throw of 54'11.25" is a new school record. In addition, Roberts took home silver in the discus on Friday with an effort of 165'2". Nya Harmon of Hampton won the event with a throw of 168'3".
As for results from the relays during the three-day event, two out of the four quartets ran to season's best for the outdoor campaign.

Individual events from Franklin Field featured first-year student Genelle Stephens competing in the 400m hurdles, finishing 25th overall with a time of 1:01.98s, and junior Za'Kayza Parsons leaping to 14th overall with a time of 5.40 meters.Â
